VISION DAY – JUNE 15TH
On Saturday June 15th we held a consultation morning for the whole congregation in church. The purpose was to give as many members of St Hilda’s as possible, a chance to review what we have been doing and becoming in the last three years. It was also be an opportunity for us to discern together where God is leading us in the future.
To prepare for the day, every member of the church was asked to write down in no more than 60 words their vision of St Hilda’s. Alternatively, they were asked to think visually – to draw a picture that represents who they are called to be.
On Wednesday June 12th, the church was open from 10am-

RSCM CHOIR FESTIVAL AT ST. CHAD’S CATHEDRALR
On Saturday, October 19th, some members of our choir took part in the Festival which concluded with them singing the music for Evening Mass. The Celebrant and Preacher was the Archbishop of Birmingham, Bernard Longley.
At the end of the Mass, Aaron Garcia (pictured below) was presented with his RSCM Dean’s Award by Canon Gerry Breed, Dean of the Cathedral.
In the Autumn, we had the opportunity to listen to the stories of some exceptional fellow pilgrims who, with prayer and perseverance, are applying their faith to their thinking and their work.
